Bilaspur, Sep 22 (PTI) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bilaspur Rahul Kumar on Tuesday reviewed the arrangements regarding the proposed visit of President Droupadi Murmu on October 6 during which she is expected to preside over the first convocation ceremony of AIIMS Bilaspur as the chief guest.
A review meeting was held here under the chairmanship of DC Bilaspur in which officials from various departments concerned participated.
The DC said that ensuring that the visit is conducted with dignity, safety, and success is a top priority for the district administration. He directed all departments to work in coordination and fulfil their respective responsibilities with promptness, accountability, and adherence to timeliness.
Kumar instructed officials to meticulously inspect all routes associated with the President’s visit and ensure that necessary arrangements along these routes are finalised well in advance. He directed the sub-divisional administration concerned to complete all preparations for the President’s visit to the Shri Naina Devi temple within the stipulated time frame. PTI/COR
