Ranchi, Nov 4 The Jharkhand High Court on Wednesday pulled up the CBI for its alleged lackadaisical approach in dealing with cases involving MPs and MLAs pending before the special court for legislators.
A bench comprising Justices Rongon Mukhopadhyay and Ram Sharma was hearing a petition concerning the pending cases of MPs and MLAs, and observed that the CBI is not taking steps to ensure their early disposal.
The bench directed that two cases pending before the Special MP-MLA Court be sent to the High Court for scrutiny.
