Teachers recruitment row: YSRCP chief Jagan attacks Andhra govt, demands CBI probe

Amaravati, Sep 5 : Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday demanded that the state government immediately restore social media accounts that have been highlighting alleged irregularities in DSC 2025.
In a post on X, the YSRCP chief attacked the TDP-led NDA government and demanded an inquiry by either the CBI or an independent agency to establish the truth regarding the alleged irregularities in the teacher recruitment process.
“I demand the immediate restoration of every account, post and piece of content restricted in this censorship drive and clear answers to these questions. I also challenge Chandrababu Naidu and his government: If you claim the DSC 2025 recruitment was clean and transparent, order a CBI investigation,” he said.
He further asserted that Education Minister Nara Lokesh must take responsibility for the alleged irregularities and resign from his post.
Anyone questioning the TDP-led coalition government over corruption, failures, broken “Super Six” poll promises and its election manifesto, high-handedness or abuse of power is being targeted, he alleged.
The state government has been under fire from the YSR Congress Party for the past few weeks over alleged malpractices in the teacher recruitment process.
