Mumbai, Nov 7 NCP general secretary Parth Pawar and NCP (SP) leaders met Sharad Pawar at his residence here on Saturday to inquire about his health following his discharge from a city-based hospital.
The 85-year-old leader was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital on Saturday morning where he was undergoing treatment for respiratory and chest infection.
Parth Pawar, son of late Ajit Pawar and a Rajya Sabha member of the NCP, visited ‘Silver Oak’, the residence of Sharad Pawar, to meet his grand uncle.
NCP (SP) state unit president Shashikant Shinde and the party’s former state ministers Jitendra Awhad and Anil Deshmukh also met Pawar.
The veteran politician, who heads the NCP (SP), was initially admitted to Pune’s Ruby Hall Clinic on November 2 and discharged on November 4. The same day, he was admitted to the Mumbai hospital.
