Mumbai, Nov 8 Nationalist Congress Party general secretary Parth Pawar met NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar on Sunday after the senior leader’s discharge from hospital a day earlier following treatment for chest and respiratory infection.
This was Parth Pawar’s second meeting with the former Union minister at the latter’s residence in the past 48 hours. Parth Pawar, son of late Ajit Pawar, met the Opposition stalwart at his ‘Silver Oak’ residence in south Mumbai on Saturday as well.
Meanwhile, senior NCP leader Praful Patel told reporters he had met Sharad Pawar to inquire about his health and not to hold political discussions.
Patel said Sharad Pawar was aware he would be in Gondia on November 8-9 for Diwali. “So I said I will be in Mumbai from November 10 and will visit him again to check on his health,” Patel informed.
Patel had met Sharad Pawar at Breach Candy hospital a few days ago, following which a video went viral. Both leaders were heard talking about a November 10 meeting in the video.
