Hyderabad, Nov 3 Noting that dreams of ABVP activists, including abrogation of Article 370 had come true, BJP General Secretary Sunil Bansal on Tuesday expressed confidence that party workers would be able to build a system based on ideology of nationalism in Telangana as well.
Speaking at a ‘Confluence of Nationalists-2026’ and felicitation of BJP leader Kaasam Venkateswarlu on his recent appointment as BJP’s co-incharge of party affairs in Karnataka here Tuesday evening, he said there was a need to achieve another success in the “clash of ideologies to deal with ‘dimagi-naxal elements’ in the country.
Bansal said the ABVP activists during the 1990s had dreamt of abrogation of Article 370, end of militancy in Kashmir, construction of Ram temple, end of Naxalism and infiltration of Bangladeshis.
“Because of their sacrifices and struggles, we can say with pride that the dream all of them, all of us saw, that dream is fuflilled today. In the last 10-12 years, we have seen abrogation of Article 370, construction of Ram temple and Naxal-free India,” he said.
The BJP leader exuded confidence that a change would take place in Telangana as well and that the activists would be able to build a nationalism-based system in the state on the basis of the “power of organisation”.
