Vijayawada, Sep 15: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has issued brief notifications for the recruitment of 729 posts across various departments, including the Group-1 notification for 163 posts.Details regarding the eligibility criteria for the posts have been made available on the official website (https://portal-psc.ap.gov.in/).
Among the major recruitments, 163 vacancies have been notified for Group-I Services, while 196 posts are available for Assistant Statistical Officers in the A.P. Economics & Statistical Subordinate Service. The notification also includes 104 Executive Officer Grade-III posts in the A.P. Endowments Subordinate Service.
Key vacancies
The recruitment drive covers posts in several departments, including:
- Group-I Services: 163
- Assistant Environmental Engineer, AP Pollution Control Board: 40
- Horticulture Officer: 37
- Assistant Director – Forensic Engineering/Physics/Chemistry/Biology: 8
- Hostel Welfare Officers Grade-II: 73 posts across BC, Social and Tribal Welfare departments
- Assistant Tribal Welfare Officer: 6
- Assistant Social Welfare Officer: 11
- Assistant Statistical Officer: 196
- Assistant Director, Economics and Statistical Service: 17
- Assistant Director, Tribal Welfare Service: 1
The second set of notifications includes 12 Inspector of Factories posts, 18 Analyst Grade-II posts, 11 English and Telugu Reporter posts, 104 Executive Officer Grade-III posts, 15 District Probation Officer/Intake Probation Officer posts, and 78 Industrial Promotion Officer posts.
Recruitment has also been announced for 29 Supervisor Grade-I posts in the Women Development and Child Welfare Subordinate Service, along with posts in the Forest Department, including 26 Forest Section Officers, 20 Draughtsman Grade-II (Technical Assistant) posts, 23 Forest Beat Officers and four Forest Range Officers.
Application schedule
According to APPSC, online applications for the first group of notifications are tentatively scheduled from October 6 to October 27, 2026.
Applications for another set of posts, including Hostel Welfare Officers and welfare department positions, are tentatively scheduled from October 9 to October 29, 2026. A further batch of applications is scheduled from October 13 to November 2, 2026, while applications for the remaining notifications are tentatively scheduled from October 16 to November 5, 2026.
