New Delhi, Nov 4 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said the Union Cabinet’s approval of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) for Fast Track Special Courts (FTSCs) will ensure faster justice.
The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the continuation of the CSS for FTSCs, including exclusive POCSO Courts, for a further period of five years with effect from April 1, 2026.
“From less delay to faster justice,” Modi said in a post on X.
The scheme has a total financial outlay of Rs 3,788.04 crore (central share of Rs 2,353.15 crore and state/Union territory share of Rs 1,434.89 crore). The central share will be funded from the Nirbhaya Fund.
