New Delhi, Nov 3 The ABVP said 15,000 students from across the country will participate in its Wednesday march at Delhi University under the slogan “Arajakta Hatao, Loktantra Bachao” (remove anarchy, save democracy).

The march aims to oppose what the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) described as “disruptive and anarchic forces” allegedly trying to weaken constitutional institutions and undermine social harmony in the country, and will run from the Rugby Ground of Delhi University to Kranti Chowk.

The student organisation alleged that certain opposition parties and organisations, including the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), were attempting to create an atmosphere of instability. It accused “some Left-wing organisations and individuals, including Neha Bora”, of misleading students in the name of protest and dissent.

ABVP national secretary Aditya Takiyar said students’ participation would send a message in support of national unity, democracy and constitutional institutions. He alleged that attempts were made to mislead young people through divisive ideologies and foreign influence.

ABVP Delhi state secretary Sarthak Sharma said students should focus on constructive ideas and nation-building rather than violence and arson. Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) president Yash Dabas said the university campus should not be used for political or disruptive activities and asserted that the march would seek to uphold democratic values and the academic environment.

The ABVP has called upon students from Delhi University and other parts of the country to participate in the march on November 4.
