Agra (UP), Nov 3 A district court here has dismissed a revision petition filed against the rejection of a complaint against actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut over her alleged “gutter generation” remark, a lawyer who filed the case said on Tuesday.

Advocate Ramshankar Sharma, who had filed the complaint against Ranaut, said District Judge Sanjay Kumar Malik dismissed the revision petition.

Earlier, MP-MLA court judge Anuj Kumar on Monday dismissed the complaint, following which Sharma approached the district judge with a revision petition challenging the order.

Sharma said he would now approach the Allahabad High Court in the matter.

Ranaut, who represents Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi in the Lok Sabha, had allegedly used the term “gutter generation” while referring to a protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.

Following the remark, a complaint was filed against her in the MP-MLA court in Agra.
