Bhubaneswar, Oct 30 Odisha’s State Transport Authority on Friday signed an MoU with BharatCares to strengthen road safety awareness across the state, officials said.
The partnership seeks to leverage technology-enabled learning, behavioural interventions, and community outreach to improve road safety knowledge among drivers, licence applicants, and other road users, they said.
Under the collaboration, BharatCares will establish and operate five driver sensitisation centres at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri, Keonjhar, and Angul, providing interactive road safety education through digital learning modules, assessments, and counselling sessions, they said.
The agreement is intended to create a scalable and sustainable model for road safety education and behavioural change, supporting Odisha’s vision of safer roads and improved transport safety outcomes, the officials added.
