Raichur (Karnataka), Nov 2 A 45-year-old woman was killed after a four-wheeler allegedly rear ended a motorcycle in Raichur district on Monday, police said.
The deceased was identified as Hanumamma, they said.
The incident occurred on Lingasugur Road in Maski town of Raichur district. The motorcycle was travelling from Lingasugur to Mudaldinni village in Maski when the four-wheeler, coming from behind, hit it.
Hanumamma, who was riding pillion, died on the spot, while Kumar (23), who was riding the motorcycle, sustained serious injuries, a senior police officer said.
Kumar was shifted to a hospital in Bagalkot for further treatment, he said.
A case has been registered at Maski Police Station.
