Hyderabad, Oct 27 A 31-year-old man allegedly killed his two-year-old daughter before he and his wife died by suicide by hanging here, police said on Tuesday.
The man, a native of West Bengal, who worked as a chef, was residing along with his wife and daughter in a rented house in a locality under the limits of KPHB police station.
After the couple did not open the door on Tuesday, the neighbours informed the police.
As per the preliminary information, he allegedly killed his daughter, and later the couple died by suicide by hanging, a police official said.
The suicide notes purportedly written by the couple were found in the house beside a message written on the wall, police said.
A message written on the house wall read “no one is responsible for this” and “we are making a mistake, but we have no other choice. Forgive us”.
The exact circumstances and reasons for the deaths were not yet known, police said. Further investigation is underway.
