Shimla, Oct 31 Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Saturday said the state will be earning around Rs 37 crore in revenue every year from Wildflower Hall Hotel in Charrabra in Shimla.
In a press statement issued here, Sukhu stated that the case of the Wildflower Hall Hotel had been pending since 2003. However, through sustained and effective legal efforts the state government has successfully secured a favourable outcome.
“As a result, the state government had received Rs. 401 crore” he added.
He said the state had received no revenue from this property over the past 23 years. However, the income generated from it would now be spent on public welfare and development works.
Sukhu said this money belonged to the people and will be utilised exclusively for their welfare.
“This achievement reflects the government’s commitment to transparency, integrity and good governance,” he added.
