Bhopal, Oct 31 Demand for consumer electronics in Madhya Pradesh grew sevenfold during Amazon’s Great Indian Festival 2026, while purchases of large appliances surged up to 26-fold in Jabalpur, the e-commerce company said.
Large appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines and air conditioners, recorded 26-fold growth in Jabalpur, 21-fold in Gwalior, 16-fold in Indore and 12-fold in Bhopal over a regular business day.
The premium smartphone segment grew 20-fold.
Running shoe purchases rose sevenfold in Jabalpur, sixfold in Gwalior and fivefold in Indore, while body care products recorded 14-fold growth in Bhopal. Soap purchases grew 16-fold in Bhopal, 10-fold in Jabalpur and eightfold in Indore.
Madhya Pradesh has more than 77,000 sellers on Amazon.in, with Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur among the leading seller hubs, the company said.
