Amaravati, Sep 18: Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh has appealed to Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha and the DGP to ensure that permissions for DJ vehicles during Ganesh idol immersions are processed without unnecessary hurdles. He also urged the police not to seize DJ vehicles during the immersion processions.
Home Minister Anitha responded that she had instructed the police department to process DJ permissions according to the prescribed guidelines, while stressing that celebrations should maintain public order, noise limits and the religious ethos of the occasion.
