Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 7 Keralam BJP president Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Saturday called Congress leader Rahul Gandhi a “fraud” and accused him of repeatedly “spreading lies” to mislead people.
In a post on ‘X’, Chandrasekhar said Gandhi’s strategy was to move “from one lie to another until one gets traction,” eventually leading some people to believe that there was “a grain of truth” in his claims.
Referring to Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels, Chandrasekhar cited the famous saying that if a lie was repeated often enough, people would begin to consider it the truth.
“This is at the heart of Gandhi’s strategy,” he said, adding that the Congress leader was either fooling himself or attempting to delude everybody else.
Chandrasekhar asserted that Gandhi would not succeed in his alleged attempts.
“The collective resolve of Indians determined to protect our democracy will defeat these attempts,” he said.
