New Delhi, Nov 6 Vice President C P Radhakrishnan on Friday inaugurated the newly installed grid-connected solar energy-powered facade lighting system at Uprashtrapati Bhavan.
In a social media post, his office shared pictures of the system.
The inauguration comes a day after Radhakrishnan underlined India’s achievements in the renewable energy sector while addressing the valedictory session of the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit and Expo 2026 here.
He said India’s progress had demonstrated that environmental commitments were not obstacles to economic growth but catalysts for development.
