Idupulapaya, Sep 2 : Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday paid floral tributes to his father and former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy on his 17th death anniversary at the YSR Ghat here.
Accompanied by his mother Vijayamma, wife Bharathi and other family members, Jagan offered a floral wreath at the memorial and participated in special prayers.
“Miss you always, Dad! You’ll forever be my inspiration,” Jagan said in a post on X.
Party cadres and supporters across Andhra Pradesh also paid tributes to Rajasekhara Reddy, recalling his contribution to welfare, agriculture, healthcare, education and irrigation.
Several people gathered along the route to catch a glimpse of Jagan and shake hands with him.
Rajasekhara Reddy, popularly known as YSR, died in a helicopter crash on September 2, 2009.
