Kherson (Ukraine), Oct 30 (AP) Russian and Ukrainian officials on a humanitarian mission said Friday they entered the devastated city of Oleshky following a rare ceasefire.
The chief coordinators of the operation, Yana Lantratova from Russia and Ukraine’s Dmytro Lubinets, announced that the operation had begun after demining local roads.
Lantratova said in a video released by the Russian state Tass news agency that people willing to leave Oleshky were boarding buses. Those who stay are set to receive aid.
