New Delhi, Oct 29 The body of a 30-year-old man bearing injury marks on his head and neck was found outside a school in outernorth Delhi’s Narela, with police suspecting a foul play, police sources said on Thursday.
The deceased, Harpal, lived with his family at Balaji Apartments and worked at a company in the Narela Industrial Area, sources said.
Harpal had left home for his night shift but did not return. His body was subsequently found outside the school. The injury marks on his head and neck have raised suspicion of murder, though the exact cause of death is yet to be established.
Police reached the spot after receiving information about the body and took it to Raja Harish Chandra Hospital. The body was later sent to the mortuary for a post-mortem.
Police are examining CCTV footage from cameras installed in and around the crime scene to ascertain the sequence of events. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
