Gandhinagar, Oct 28 Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday urged industrialists from Gujarat to include Haryana in their business expansion plans for the next two to five years, assuring his government’s support at every stage.
Saini was addressing industrialists at the ‘Haryana Investment Roadshow’ in Gandhinagar on the second day of his visit to Gujarat.
“I urge all of you to include Haryana in your business expansion plans for the next two to five years. Please visit Haryana and explore our industrial areas. Discuss investment opportunities with our team in accordance with your company’s requirements,” Saini said.
He also invited businesspersons to visit his government’s proposed ‘Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit’ in the first week of April 2027.
This summit will serve as an important platform to understand Haryana’s industrial capabilities, policies and investment opportunities as well as to develop new business partnerships, Saini said.
“Whether you are engaged in automobiles, engineering, textiles, electronics, pharmaceuticals, solar energy or any other sector, I urge you to assess the possibilities of expanding your business in Haryana,” he added.
Saini assured investors of his government’s support at every stage and said Haryana was keen to develop long-term industrial partnerships with Gujarat.
The chief minister said the state wanted to attract fresh investments from Gujarat rather than encourage businesses to relocate their existing operations.
“We want you to explore the possibilities of establishing new units, offices, warehouses or technology centres in Haryana,” he said, adding that the state aimed to become a partner in the next phase of growth of Gujarat-based businesses.
He also highlighted opportunities in sectors such as automobiles, engineering, textiles, electronics, pharmaceuticals, solar energy, information technology, data centres, artificial intelligence, logistics and warehousing.
Saini said Haryana’s industrial ecosystem, connectivity to Delhi-NCR and major markets of North India, and established automobile and manufacturing networks offered opportunities for investors across sectors.
“Through our Haryana Industrial Policy and new sectoral policies, we have focused on electronics, data centres, IT, AI, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, toys, sports equipment, food processing and other suitable sectors,” he said.
He said the state had set a target of attracting Rs 5 lakh crore in new investments over the next five years and creating 10 lakh employment opportunities.
Gujarat’s entrepreneurial experience in production, quality control, cost management and exports could complement Haryana’s industrial base and help expand business activities in both states, he said.
Saini said the Haryana government had incorporated suggestions from industrial associations while preparing its new industrial policy. On the day the policy was launched in Gurugram, memorandums of understanding worth Rs 1.1 lakh crore were signed, he added.
Haryana’s incentive budget utilisation stood at 96 per cent in the financial years 2023-24 and 2024-25, while the average utilisation over the past six years was 83 per cent.
Saini said the government was focused on simplifying procedures, expanding digital facilities and providing investors with timely information and assistance.
He called for stronger inter-state industrial cooperation to help realise Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’.
