Medininagar (Jharkhand), Oct 29 Jharkhand BJP chief Aditya Sahu on Thursday said the party will launch a weeklong campaign in the state from November 1 to strengthen democracy.
The campaign ‘Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao’ (Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy) will be organised in Palamu district on November 4, Sahu said, while addressing an organisational meeting.
Sahu alleged that the Congress is attempting to create instability in the country.
“The opposition is seeking to derive political advantage by creating a chaotic atmosphere, but their designs will not succeed. The Bharatiya Janata Party is fully prepared to oppose this,” he said, according to a party release.
Sahu urged all party workers, office-bearers, and leaders, from the booth level to the district level, to engage in taking the Modi government’s 12 years of public welfare initiatives, development, and achievements to every household and every village so that as many people as possible can benefit.
He also instructed them to expose the JMM-led government, which, he alleged, has been exploiting villagers, the poor, farmers, women, the youth, Dalits, Adivasis, and labourers for the past seven years.
Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister Annapurna Devi said the Modi government’s vision is to build a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India).
“To achieve this goal, the pace of development has consistently been accelerated over the past 12 years. Efforts are being made across every sector to foster development and public welfare, a reality that has left the opposition completely desperate,” she said.
