Lucknow, Oct 27 The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet on Tuesday approved Rs 543.40 crore for constructing 845 residential units for Class I and Class II officers of the Allahabad High Court at Jhalwa in Prayagraj.

Briefing the media after the meeting, Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said the residential complex would be developed on 10.37 acres of land at Jhalwa to address the shortage of government accommodation for High Court officers.

“The project comprises 533 Type III residential units and 312 Type IV units,” he said, adding that the Cabinet had approved the administrative and financial sanction for the construction work and the release of funds.
