Jaipur, Oct 22 Two workers were killed and five others fell unconscious after a fire broke out at a gold jewellery manufacturing factory in Jaipur’s Sitapura industrial area on Thursday evening, police said.
The incident occurred around 5 pm when workers were engaged in their duties inside the factory.
Police and fire brigade teams rushed to the spot after receiving information about the blaze and launched rescue operations.
The five workers who fell unconscious were admitted to a hospital, police said.
The fire has been brought under control, while the cause of the blaze is being investigated, they added.
