Amaravati, Oct 22 The Central Government has extended the tenure of Andhra Pradesh chief secretary G Sai Prasad by another six months until May 31, 2027.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has issued orders to this effect, a release from the Andhra Pradesh government said on Thursday.
The state wrote to the Centre seeking Prasad’s extension on September 29.
This is the second extension for Prasad, a 1991 batch IAS officer. The press release added that the first extension ran from June 1 to November 30.
