Mumbai, Oct 22 Slamming the Bikaner House management for removing several pictures from Raihan Vadra’s exhibition, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray on Thursday said it must face the “Indian version of Nuremberg trials” for taking down the pictures of the national flag.

A controversy broke out earlier in the day after the Bikaner House Society said it had sought the removal of certain photographs from Vadra’s exhibition as they were inconsistent with its policy. Raihan Vadra is the son of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra.

In a post on X, Aaditya Thackeray said the Bikaner House management should think whether it is truly Indian.

“To take down the photos of the National Flag, is an anti-national act. When democracy is reclaimed, the management must face the Indian version of Nuremberg trials for this anti-national act,” he said, tagging Raihan Vadra.

“A regime that is so scared of even photographs without any descriptions, kudos to you for standing up for the national flag and not taking down the photos that had our flag,” the Sena (UBT) leader added.

The Nuremberg Trials refer to the tribunals set up by the Allied Powers to prosecute the leaders of Nazi Germany after World War II for their war crimes and the Holocaust.

Speaking to PTI Videos on Thursday, Raihan Vadra said that his show “No Idea is Final” was supposed to start at 7 pm on Wednesday, but the Bikaner House management told him that some of the pictures might be objectionable or against their policy.
