Gandhinagar, Oct 23 The Gujarat government on Friday ordered the transfer of 17 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, changing collectors in Mehsana, Anand and Vav-Tharad districts.
Alok Kumar Pandey, secretary in the Tribal Development Department, has been given additional charge of Commissioner of Relief and ex-officio secretary to the Revenue Department, relieving Gaurang H Makwana of the additional responsibility, as per a notification issued by the General Administration Department (GAD).
Makwana, Managing Director, Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (UGVCL), Mehsana, would hold additional charge of the post of Managing Director, INDEXT-B, Gandhinagar until further orders, the notification added.
IAS officer GT Pandya, who served as Additional Secretary in the Education Department has been transferred and posted as Director of Information, Gandhinagar, the notification said.
Mehsana collector S. K. Prajapati has been posted as Additional Rural Development Commissioner, Commissionerate of Rural Development, Gandhinagar, relieving V.K. Jadav of additional charge of that post. Harshit Pruthwiraj Gosavi, who served as Additional Secretary (Law & Order) in the Home Department has been transferred as Collector of Mehsana.
Anand collector Praveen Chaudhary has been transferred to the post of Chief Executive Officer, Special Project (Dholera SIR & Mandal-Bechraji SIR), Gandhinagar, relieving Kuldeep Arya of additional charge of that post, the notification said.
“Utsav Gautam, District Development Officer (DDO) of Kutch-Bhuj, will replace Chaudhary as Collector of Anand. M J Dave, DDO of Banaskantha-Palanpur, has been appointed collector of the newly constituted Vav-Tharad district, relieving Kalpesh Kumar Sharma of additional charge of that post,” it said.
C C Kotak, Deputy Director General of the Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA), Ahmedabad, has been posted as Special Director of the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), Ahmedabad.
Ram Niwas Bugalia, DDO of Tapi, has been transferred to the post of DDO of Banaskantha-Palanpur, while Atirag Chaplot, DDO of Valsad, has been transferred as DDO Kutch-Bhuj, as per the notification.
“Sachin Kumar, DDO of Chhotaudepur, has been transferred as Deputy Secretary (Law and Order) in the Home Department, replacing Gosavi. Vandana Meena, Project Administrator, Tribal Area Sub Plan, Mahisagar, has been transferred as DDO of Valsad,” the notification informed.
Rajesh Kumar Mourya, currently Project Administrator in Songadh, Tapi district, has been transferred to the post of DDO of Amreli, relieving KJ Jadeja of additional charge of that post. Swapnil Mahadeo Sisle, Project Administrator in Vansada, Navsari district, will take over as DDO of Tapi, it said.
Omkar Rajendra Shinde, Project Administrator in Chhotaudepur, has been transferred as DDO of the same district, the notification said.
B N Patel, Executive Director of Gujarat Gas Limited, has been transferred as Director General of the Sports Authority of Gujarat in Gandhinagar, the notification said.
