Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 21 Leader of the Opposition Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday visited Cantonment House, his official residence, and inspected the area where a fire had broken out two days ago.
The fire broke out in a shed behind the Cantonment House which Vijayan is yet to occupy as the place is undergoing maintenance works.
A statement issued by his office said that Cantonment House is not yet fit for occupancy.
Former opposition leader and current Chief Minister V D Satheesan had vacated the Cantonment House in June this year and shifted to Cliff House, the official residence of the CM.
