Karnal, Oct 25 Union Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in a ‘padyatra’ in Haryana’s Karnal on November 5 under the ‘Save Democracy, End Anarchy’ campaign, BJP state president Archana Gupta said on Sunday.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Union minister Manohar Lal and other senior leaders will also attend the programme, Gupta said.
She was in Karnal this evening to review preparations for the ‘padyatra’ (foot march).
Gupta held separate meetings with the district core group and party office-bearers at the BJP office. She subsequently visited the event venue in Sector 12 to inspect the arrangements, according to a party statement.
The Haryana BJP chief also met party workers from the Karnal Assembly constituency to assess preparations.
Gupta emphasised the systematic execution of assigned responsibilities and effective coordination across all levels of the organisation. She called upon party workers to advance preparations through coordinated efforts.
She stated that the BJP is conducting the ‘Save Democracy, End Anarchy’ campaign to counter misleading propaganda by opposition parties.
As part of this campaign, Shah will join the padyatra for the Karnal Lok Sabha constituency.
During her visit to the event venue, Gupta also discussed the necessary arrangements with party office-bearers.
