Mumbai, Oct 20 Maharashtra minister and BJP leader Ashish Shelar on Tuesday met Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff and enquired about his well-being, two days after he narrowly survived a gun attack on his car in Mumbai.
Shelar met Shroff at the latter’s office in Bandra and wished him a speedy recovery.
The BJP minister posted his photos with the 36-year-old actor and wrote on social media, “Visited Tiger Shroff and enquired about his well-being following the unfortunate firing incident in Juhu. Such acts of violence have no place in our society.”
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who heads the Shiv Sena, met Shroff at his residence in Bandra late Sunday night.
The ‘Baaghi’ actor escaped relatively unhurt in the shooting, though his driver and a bystander sustained injuries in the attack on Sunday evening in Mumbai’s Juhu area.
Hours after the gun attack, three suspects — two of them from Haryana and one from Bihar — were arrested from a train at Kota station in Rajasthan on Monday.
