New Delhi, Oct 15 Vice President C P Radhakrishnan will be the chief guest at the commissioning ceremony of multi-purpose naval warship INS Samarthak at Karwar in Karnataka on Friday, his office said.
On the same evening, Radhakrishnan will travel to Kozhikode in Kerala to attend the inauguration of ‘Navaratri Sargotsavam 2026’, organised by Kesari Weekly, Matangi Trust and Navaratri Sargotsava Samithi.
INS Samarthak is capable of undertaking maritime reconnaissance and surveillance and can participate in low-intensity operations.
