New Delhi, Oct 14 The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Wednesday criticised Congress leader Pawan Khera for allegedly describing the RSS as “terrorists”, saying his party has degenerated into a “gang of anarchic elements” and accusing it of nurturing terrorists.

Responding to a post by Khera on X, VHP national spokesperson Vinod Bansal said that when a party falls into “mental bankruptcy”, its leaders cannot be expected to maintain decorum in their language.

“It’s not your fault, Pawan Khera ji. When an entire party degenerates into nothing but a gang of anarchic elements and falls prey to mental bankruptcy, how can its head of media and publicity possibly safeguard the decorum of his language and his grasp of facts?” Bansal wrote on X.

“In any case, to a party that has spent its life nurturing terrorists, that’s all that will ever be visible everywhere,” he added.

Khera made the remark in response to a post by a legal news portal on X about the Madras High Court hearing a plea challenging the denial of permission for a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) route march in Tamil Nadu.

The post noted the court’s questions over the repeated denial of permission for such marches.

“Because they are the terrorists?” Khera wrote, in an apparent reference to the RSS.
