New Delhi, Oct 16 AAP national convenor Avrind Kejriwal on Friday attacked the BJP-led Union government over detention of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leader Abhijeet Dipke, terming the action a sign of “outright dictatorship”.

“This is nothing but outright dictatorship. Is it a crime to hoist the Tricolour? Abhijeet’s arrest shows just how much Modi ji fears them,” Kejriwal said in a post on X in Hindi.

“Those who have a problem with the Tricolour should go to Pakistan,” he jibed.

Dipke was detained from his residence here on Friday while he was leaving to participate in the ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ protest at Connaught Place.

AAP, too, on Friday held a Tiranga march near Rashtrapati Bhavan and the party headquarters, asserting that the Centre cannot “dictate” where people can unfurl the national flag.
