Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 15 Keralam Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty on Thursday said representatives of Emirates SkyCargo met him to discuss expanding their operations in the state and exploring new business opportunities.
In a Facebook post, Kunhalikutty said Emirates SkyCargo, the cargo division of the global aviation group Emirates, was already operating in collaboration with the Kerala State Industrial Enterprises (KSIE), under the Industries Department.
The meeting aimed to expand the existing cooperation and explore new business opportunities from Keralam, he said.
The delegation was led by Emirates SkyCargo India Head Amir Al Zarouni and included Alasia Saeed and Denisa Rivera.
“Key discussions focused on significantly increasing exports from Keralam through KSIE. This collaboration with Emirates will help our products reach markets across the world faster,” Kunhalikutty said.
He expressed hope that the cooperation will bring substantial growth to the state’s cargo and export sectors in the coming days.
