Dehradun, Oct 21 President Droupadi Murmu may visit Kedarnath Dham in the first week of November, the Rudraprayag district administration said on Wednesday.
A meeting to discuss preparations for the visit was held on Wednesday at the district office.
District Magistrate Vishal Mishra, who chaired the meeting, said he travelled to Kedarnath Dham to inspect the arrangements on-site.
Mishra said the administration is committed to ensuring the President’s visit proceeds successfully and seamlessly.
“Efforts are being made to ensure that pilgrims visiting the shrine do not face any inconvenience, and instead enjoy a smooth, safe, and high-quality pilgrimage experience,” the DM said, according to a statement.
