Bhadohi (UP), Oct 18 Three youths were killed on Sunday after their speeding motorcycle rammed into a divider and plunged into a drain in Uttar Pradesh’s Bhadohi, police said.
Additional Superintendent of Police Shubham Agrawal said that the deceased were identified as Deepak Bind, Sunil Bind and Suraj Bind, all residents of Medinipur village and aged between 23 and 25 years.
The three were returning home on the same motorcycle when the rider lost control of the speeding vehicle. The motorcycle hit the divider before falling into a five-foot-deep drain, along with the riders, the officer said.
The youths are suspected to have died of head injuries sustained in the collision and the subsequent fall, he added.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and further legal proceedings are underway, Agrawal said.
