Amaravati, October 15 Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday paid tributes to former President APJ Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary.
The Governor lauded Kalam’s invaluable contributions to science, technology and national development.
“Along with his (Kalam’s) unwavering commitment to education and youth empowerment, he continues to inspire the nation and remains a guiding force for future generations,” Nazeer said in a post on X.
Similarly, CM Naidu described Kalam as a towering source of inspiration and a visionary who charted new directions for the country’s nuclear and technological sectors.
“On his birth anniversary, let us remember the contributions of this humanitarian to the nation and society,” Naidu said in a post on X.
YSRCP supremo Reddy said Kalam believed that individual growth was possible through education and national development through the power of youth.
He said Kalam had rendered distinguished service as a scientist and as President of India, while his simple lifestyle remained an inspiration to all.
“Kalam was a great visionary who believed that individual growth is possible only through education and national development through the power of youth,” he said in a post on X.
The former CM recalled Kalam’s message urging students to dream and turn their dreams into reality, adding that his efforts to inspire young people and steer the country towards development remained unforgettable.
