Paris, Oct 13 (AP) A cyberattack targeting refrigeration systems affected about 700 supermarkets across France, the country’s finance minister said Tuesday, as prosecutors opened an investigation into the incident.
Finance Minister Roland Lescure told Parliament that the attack posed “no risk for food supplies in France,” but warned that it was “a wake-up call for everyone.”
The Paris prosecutor’s office said Tuesday it had opened an investigation.
