Ramgarh (Jharkhand), Sept 26 Jharkhand High Court Justice Deepak Roshan on Saturday laid the foundation stone for a proposed G+3 District Bar Association building near the Ramgarh civil court.
Addressing the gathering, Roshan described advocates as the “backbone of a strong and vibrant justice system”.
“Their (advocates’) contribution in providing easy, speedy, transparent and equitable relief to the common people is incomparable,” he said.
Roshan said providing advocates with a better working environment, improved infrastructure and modern technical facilities was an imperative of the present times.
“This proposed multi-storied building will not only provide a fully equipped platform for lawyers to sit, study and smoothly carry out daily judicial work, but will also give a new dimension to judicial infrastructure in Ramgarh,” the judge said.
Earlier, Roshan and his wife Sarika were welcomed with saplings on the occasion.
Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ramgarh, Mohammed Taufiqul Hassan said better coordination between the Bench and the Bar was essential for smooth and effective delivery of justice.
Ramgarh Deputy Commissioner Rituraj assured full administrative and technical support from the district administration for timely completion of the building.
