Ambala, Sep 26 A bus travelling from Gurugram to Jalandhar collided with a truck near Kalka Chowk in Ambala City here on Saturday, police said.
Most passengers were asleep when the accident occurred in the morning, causing panic as many tried to get off the bus immediately.
The bus conductor, Chhotu (40) died in the accident, while around 10 passengers were injured, police said.
The injured were admitted to the Civil Hospital in Ambala City. One of the injured, Surya, has been referred to PGIMER Chandigarh.
The bus was en route from Gurugram to Jalandhar (Punjab).
