Amaravati, Sep 26 Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said the state will host the Southern Regional Workshop of Sadhana Shrinkhla 2026 under ‘Mission Karmayogi’ in Vijayawada on September 29.
The regional workshop is aimed at capacity building among government employees and enhancing administrative skills, an official release said.
“Proud to announce that Andhra Pradesh will be hosting the Southern Regional Workshop of Sadhana Shrinkhla 2026 under Mission Karmayogi in Vijayawada on 29th September, alongside MoS Jitendra Singh,” Naidu said in a post on ‘X’.
Officials and stakeholders from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Puducherry will participate in the workshop.
The CM will inaugurate the workshop and senior officials from the Central and state governments and representatives of Mission Karmayogi will address the participants.
The workshop will focus on capacity building of government training institutions and enhancing the skills of government employees under Mission Karmayogi.
A demonstration will be given on the use of the iGOT-Mission Karmayogi platform for capacity building through the Unnati programme, the release said.
Discussions will also be held on the Mission Karmayogi Quality Framework and the draft framework for governance of various training institutions under the Karmayogi Kartavya programme.
Representatives from different states will share their experiences and best practices through inter-state team activities and question-and-answer sessions.
The programme will commence at 10 am on September 29 with Naidu delivering the inaugural address at 10.30 am, followed by technical sessions on various subjects.
On September 30, the workshop will conclude with an expert session, presentations by participating states and group discussions.
The key message of the workshop is that government training institutions should evolve beyond being mere centres for conducting courses and emerge as partners in improving the performance of various departments.
The workshop is expected to facilitate capacity enhancement in governance and promote the exchange of best practices among the participating states, the release added.
