Lucknow, Sep 25 Uttar Pradesh BJP chief Pankaj Chaudhary on Friday said Deen Dayal Upadhyaya paved the way for cultural nationalism and “Antyodaya” (uplift of the last person) for the welfare of the masses through his ideas, actions and established ideal standards.
According to a statement issued by the state BJP headquarters, the party observed the birth anniversary of Upadhyaya — the proponent of “Integral Humanism” — across Uttar Pradesh on Friday with a resolve to uphold the spirit of “Antyodaya”.
Chaudhary, who is also the Union minister of state for finance, and state BJP general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh offered floral tributes at Upadhyaya’s portrait at the party’s state headquarters.
Paying homage to the pioneer of “Antyodaya”, Chaudhary said the core of Upadhyaya’s philosophy was that human progress signifies the advancement of all four aspects — body, mind, intellect and soul.
He said Upadhyaya paved the way for cultural nationalism and “Antyodaya” for the welfare of the masses through his ideas, actions and established ideal standards. Every worker of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is committed to following the path charted by him, Chaudhary added.
