Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 24 The VACB is to launch its digital system ‘Suite 3.0’ aimed at making investigations and procedures more efficient and transparent, officials said on Thursday.
State Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala will inaugurate Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) Suite 3.0 at a function to be held at the Police Training College here on Friday.
In a statement, the VACB said Suite 3.0 has been developed to make the procedures related to Vigilance cases and enquiries more efficient, secure, transparent and coordinated.
“VACB SUITE 3.0 is a unified digital platform comprising features such as an enhanced data verification system, secure document storage, dashboards, and supervisory monitoring. The new system will help monitor the progress of cases and enquiries at various stages through a digital mechanism, make required information quickly accessible, and enhance effective supervision,” the statement said.
To ensure effective utilisation of the new digital system and maximise the potential of technology in investigation and enquiry procedures, a special training programme will be conducted for Vigilance officers, officials said.
Training will be provided on effectively utilising the various mechanisms and operational features of VACB Suite 3.0, it said.
