Chennai, Sep 24 In a minor level IPS reshuffle in Tamil Nadu, ADGP A Arun and Coimbatore IGP N Kannan were placed on compulsory wait.
An official release from the Home Department on Thursday said that Arun, currently serving as Director of Tamil Nadu Police Academy (TNPA), Vandalur, Chennai, was brought under compulsory wait at the office of the DGP.
Rajeev Kumar, DGP training, will hold the full additional charge of the post of Director TNPA until further orders.
Similarly, Kannan, Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore, was also brought under compulsory wait at the office of the DGP.
R V Ramya Bharati, IGP west zone, Coimbatore, will hold the post of the Coimbatore city Commissioner, the release added.
