Thane, Sep 25 The Khatu Shyam Ganpati Mandal in Ambernath in Thane district on Friday held its annual ‘modak’ auction, which saw local resident Kamlakant Rai winning with a top bid of Rs 1,81,111, an organiser said.
Rai said he was delighted with the win, since receiving this ‘modak’ is a matter of immense faith and devotion for him and his family.
