Guwahati, Sept 24 Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India Lee Seong-ho called on Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at his office here on Thursday evening, and they discussed about partnership in various fields, including semiconductors, cosmetics, and tech parks.
The chief minister, in a social media post, said, “It was a privilege to meet H.E. Mr. Lee Seong-ho, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India, who called on me today in Guwahati.”
“Our conversation brought back cherished memories of my visit to Seoul in 2025, where I witnessed first-hand Korea’s remarkable blend of technological excellence, industrial vision and rich cultural heritage,” the CM said on X.
He said that they discussed partnerships in semiconductors, cosmetics and tech parks, and cultural exchange through entertainment and K-pop, a Korean pop band.
