Jaipur, Sep 26 Light to moderate rainfall is likely in parts of Rajasthan from Sunday due to the influence of a fresh western disturbance, the Meteorological Centre in Jaipur said on Saturday.
Weather is likely to remain mainly dry over most parts of eastern Rajasthan during the next one or two days. However, light to moderate rainfall is likely at some places in Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions and the Shekhawati region from September 27 to 29, it said.
Most parts of western Rajasthan are likely to remain dry during the next two to three days.
Light rainfall is likely at isolated places in Bikaner division on September 28 and 29.
In the past 24 hours, light rainfall was recorded at isolated places in Salumber, Dholpur and Nagaur districts, while the weather remained mainly dry in the rest of the state.
Salumber and Jayal in Nagaur recorded the highest rainfall of three mm each.
Barmer recorded the state’s highest maximum temperature at 42.6 degrees Celsius on Friday.
