Hisar, Sep 24 Haryana Police has arrested three men on Thursday for allegedly killing a man who had used derogatory language for one of the accused’s sister, in a village under the Bass police station, officials said.
According to the police, Sahil alias Deepak was found dead in Dharm Kheri village in Hansi on Wednesday morning.
The police arrested Prince, Jitendra Hooda, and Aryan, all residents of Rohtak district from the Ambala district, Hansi SP Vinod Kumar said on Thursday while speaking to reporters.
The preliminary interrogation revealed that Prince and Deepak were friends. Prince was angry because Deepak had allegedly used abusive language regarding his sister, he said.
All four consumed liquor together. The accused later hit Deepak with beer bottles.
Hansi police later apprehended the three accused from the Ambala district.
In his complaint to the police, the deceased’s father, Hoshiyar Singh, a resident of Dharm Kheri, said that his younger son, Deepak, was engaged in farming.
He alleged that on Tuesday evening, Deepak had gone to the fields to irrigate the crops. The next morning, he was found dead on the roof of the room located in the field.
Upon receiving information about the incident, a police team arrived at the scene, secured the area, and conducted an inspection. A ‘Scene of Crime’ team and a fingerprint team were also summoned to the location.
Based on the complaint, the Bass Police in Hansi registered a case under the relevant sections of the law.
