Guwahati, Sep 23 Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya has constituted a Group of Ministers to examine the report of the committee on the protection, promotion and development of Dimasa language.
Chief Secretary Ravi Kota, in a notification issued on Wednesday, said the GoM will comprise Education Minister Ranoj Pegu and Hill Areas Development Minister Krishnendu Paul.
The GoM will examine the recommendations contained in the committee’s report, consider the various issues related to Dimasa language, and submit its recommendations to the government for necessary action.
The Hill Areas Department shall provide necessary secretarial assistance to the GoM, the notification stated.
